PPS Pilots
A series of Pilot Projects have been used to test the new procedures and processes in place within the PPS.
An initial pilot project, covering South Belfast District Command Unit and all youth offences in the Greater Belfast area, commenced in December 2003. A second Pilot, in Fermanagh and Tyrone, commenced on 1 April 2004. The Fermanagh and Tyrone Pilot covered all offences occurring in the PSNI's Cookstown, Dungannon, Fermanagh, Omagh and Strabane District Command Units.
